Info on the phones of Rossford
If you're looking for entertainment, you're in the wrong place, but if you crave for boredom, wasting time, and keeping the phone line busy (unless you have a cable modem), then you've come to the right place. Here we have a bit of info on Rossford Ohio's phones, who runs them, payphone numbers, PBXs and the like. We do not support cheating the phone companies, but we do support not letting them cheat you. If you're a phone `frauder` looking to rip off a few numbers and to hack a PBX, go ahead, just have fun doing it, and steal a few Ameritech/Illinios Bell technical manuals if you're ever passing through.

Rossford, as with most of Ohio is run by Illiois Bell, or Ameritech, one of the more evil telco service providers. A few payphones not in Rossford, but nearby, are owned by GTE. This page has info on Rossford's phones, payphone numbers (all two of them), the PBX with many extensions, Rossford's area code by the way is 419. Oh yeah, this page is not affiliated in any way with any corporate entities, Schools, or Local Governments.
A PBX is an acronym for Personal Branch eXchange, and is a sort of private phone switch, usually a DMS-10 for the techies in the audience. When you call a number and get prompted for a extension, that's a PBX. This is Rossford Ohio's Community/School PBX, with many, but not all, extensions. Not all extensions are made public, for obvious reasons, one could allow you complete access to someone's VMB, or Voice MailBox, but that's a different thing, and we won't get into it, so, without further ado, here it is, explore and have fun:

There aren't many Payphones in Rossford, these two lie in the 'booming heart' of the town. There are two in the High School/Junior High and one near 'The Pharm', but they're COCOTs, or Customer Owned Coin Operated Telephone (and you thought ROTARY was a bad acronym), and do not accept outside calls, and are usually more expensive.

This number doesn't fit into any particular category, so... 800-750-0750 Ohio TTY/voice phone. A TTY/Voice phone is a way for deaf people to use the phone, they dial in using a terminal, and type to the operater who then says what they type exactly. Likewise, the op has to type in what the other party says exactly.
I hate MTV, and if you disagree with me, fine, flame me, it won't change my opinion, now on to the reasons. MTV is a platform for rabid propaganda throwing corporations, for instance Pepsi Cola (tm) and Nike (tm). And haven't we all had enough 'hip-hop' and 'gansta rap' videos, 'yo yo yo, werd to yo moma'. It seems that everything they do only seems to support what I say, They have 'sold out', so to speak, but there was never a time when they weren't 'sell outs'. By selling out, I mean they do what's expected of them by their advertisers, their corporate overlords. All MTV endorsed movies are the same way. That's my opinion, but just think about that the next time you see some poor shmuck of a pop-culture addicted teenager with a MTV shirt.
